DLS markets its products in three different ways:
· Through main contractors such as system integrators. · Directly to end-users · As part of a team of qualified suppliers of other components such as suppliers of depalletizing equipment & conveyor companies
Typically for larger projects (grocery distribution, retail chains) DLS will supply to a system integrator, who acts as a main contractor. Occasionally an end-user may want to take on the role of main contractor, in which case DLS is able to supply directly to the end-user. For smaller projects (beverage or single module installations) DLS is also able to work with a small group of component suppliers and a software supplier to create a simple and effective turnkey type of solution.
All DLS proprietary components are manufactured in Europe. All other parts are sourced from worldwide companies (e.g. Siegling drive belts, SEW Eurodrive motors). Where possible pre-assembly occurs at the facility in Holland prior to shipping.
Generally the scope of supply includes all mechanical and electrical hardware, including panels & cabinets, (non-union) installation, supervision and training of local maintenance personnel. Software is typically supplied by a 3rd party software company or the system integrator. |
