About Us

Headquartered in the east of The Netherlands, Dynamic Logistic Systems focuses uniquely on its fully automated solution for full case order picking; the Order Release Module.

Since its founding in 1998 the aim has been to develop a solution that can automatically handle high volumes of full cases of any packaging type at the lowest possible cost per case.

The Order Release Module is typically supplied to system integrators as a system component for a total warehousing solution. Aside from grocery retail, it can equally be applied to food and beverage distribution.

History

In 1997 Nedcon co-founder and former director Ruud Hollander was prompted by Albert Heijn and Ahold management to research automated full case order picking solutions for their grocery Distribution Centers.

Based on over 35 years of experience with Nedcon, installing AS/RS racking solutions for the largest grocery companies in the world, Ruud Hollander developed the Order Release Module;

a fully automated case buffer that allows cases of any packaging type to be dispensed in any sequence required.

DLS has always held strong ties with the Nedcon Group through shared resources such as installation supervision, (pre-)assembly and the use of specialized Nedcon AS/RS precision racking.

Since 2003 a number of modules have been installed for the Dutch Ahold grocery chain Albert Heijn and leading Scandinavian grocery chain ICA in Sweden.

In 2004 an American sales office was opened in Denver, Colorado.

Mr. R. Hollander formally handed over his position as president of the company, but remains active as an advisor.
